Senior Vice President - LeaderLinx Canada

Geoff Lovegrove joined the Canadian division of LeaderLinx in June 2002 after having spent more than three decades in executive search and as an industry manager. Many leaders of the Canadian packaging and printing community accredit Geoff as an industry authority.

Geoff attended the London College of Printing where he achieved a Business Management Diploma. He began his packaging career in the UK in the Folding Carton Division of Mardon Packaging International, one of the predecessors to Lawson Mardon and Alcan Packaging. After several years in cost accounting and work-study of different operations Geoff moved into marketing and sales management within the expanding Flexible Packaging Division.

In 1974 Geoff transferred to Lawson & Jones, an associate company in Canada, and settled in the Toronto area with his family. Since then Geoff has held sales and marketing management positions with blue chip organizations, Domtar Packaging, Atlantic Packaging and Rolph Clark Stone (acquired by Shorewood Packaging). He helped to pioneer the thermoformed plastic container market and was directly involved in a Greenfield business, Plimco Polymers, which was acquired by Twinpak.

Geoff ventured into executive search in 1986, focused on what he knew best - the packaging and printing industries. He has recruited middle to senior executives in different disciplines; senior sales account managers and engineering support staff. He credits his own diverse business experience within these dynamic industries with his ability to recruit high caliber business leaders.
